The school shootings in the USA last Friday have caused a lot of pain and a lot of reflection. I don't know how a society heals from such wounds. Does religion provide comfort?

Pretty much the entire rest of the world thinks that a start in stopping future shootings would be to stop selling people guns so easily. This is an unpopular view in the USA. Perhaps they should try this on for size: recognize mass public shootings as terrorism, and stop selling guns to terrorists.
