The cost cutters are out in full force, declaring war on children. Anyway, plans to shut down the High Park Zoo (which is a lovely small free zoo that's been there for over 100 years) have been delayed as the community including some children-artists have banded together and are busy raising the cash the city won't provide because operating the zoo costs all of nine cents per resident per year.
