Pig Pulling

These statues: At first I thought they were meant to illustrate something from children's literature, like a chapter of Anne of Green Gables or Charlotte's Web or something. But in fact, they serve to commemorate a pig farm that once stood on the site. The stone wall from the last photo was made of stones from the barn. Now it's on the edge of suburbia.
