Ralph's Hardware Store

Posted by

How many generations have grown up with this kind of hardware store? It's pretty sad to see them vanishing from North America within the space of 20 years. So remember it while you can. Kiddies, this used to be the only kind of place you could buy hardware not that long ago.

For the record, I went in there a few minutes before taking this photo and asked the owner (whose feet were on his desk) if he had the kind of bolt I was looking for. He did not. Neither did Home Depot, but at least here, it took me less than half a minute to find that out.
