The earthy tones, moving black figure with umbrella appeal to me. The many rectangles and bold contrasts are striking. Excellent composition. r

"Yorkville" looks like it has seen better days (the red is nice however). Why is there a circle on the small pole? I think there was one on another picture.

@Christine Walsh: Thanks, Christine! Yorkville is actually a very tony shopping district. This particular building is definitely on the shabby side. The circle and pole (also in yesterday's photo) is a bicycle post. They're all over the city. Very handy!
This is an ace find and some cracking presentation. Hot stuff.
