Canada Malting Company

Posted by
Damon Schreiber (Toronto, Canada) on 30 January 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio.

This is the same building as yesterday. One of the few times I wish I could show higher resolution images here because there's so much detail in this photo. I'll go back some day with another lens. But that day, I only had my 28mm with me. The plant was built in 1928 and abandoned in the 1980s. You can read a little more about in on Wikipedia, and for the adventurous, I found a description of someone's experiences breaking in, along with photos of the inside. I'm not that adventurous.

About the February Street Photo challenge/theme: many people have signed up. Thank you so much; it's going to be a lot of fun. If you still want to join, please do. Just hit my Contact link and let me know.
