The Watcher

Posted by
Damon Schreiber (Toronto, Canada) on 21 July 2008 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

A complicated story: First, this is a single exposure. You are looking at the cat who is looking at the world, and you see that world reflected in the glass window through which you see the cat.

Second, this was a shoe repair shop for many years with an old lady looking after the business, what there was of it, but several months ago, she shut it down and it's looked abandoned ever since. But on this day, I noticed her cat back in its usual perch surveying the comings and goings on Bloor street.
