cool processing here. Reminds me a little of imagery used by Wim Wenders. The colours are great, yet subdued and quite earthy.

@Duncan Galbraith: Hey thanks, Duncan! I took this image knowing I liked the scene but unsure exactly why. It just had that look. And of course that's a goal of mine, to elevate the mundane into the sublime. I don't know if I succeeded, but I was really pleased with the way the processing turned out - if only I can duplicate it again sometime - I'm sure the late afternoon light had much to do with it.
I can feel the chill in the air despite the sun - the colors are sharp too, as is the central focus on the electricity structure. BTW, I followed your high res link to Picasa. Do you have a blogspot page as well for your high res? I've just set up a blogspot blog specifically to load some of my originals - I have tweaked the Simple Themes Blogger template a little, and I load the high res as small to fit four in the one post - click on the small ones, and the originals load fast with very good reproduction, and according to Google these Blogger pics will be automatically transferred to your Picasa albums.
Anyway, to see what I'm talking about, go to Lakeside[/b] at http://canberralakes.blogspot.com/.
