On this day of countdowns, I thought I'd go with a time-based photo. This is a multiple exposure. The same people can be seen repeating themselves, walking through time as do we all.

My new year's resolution is to concentrate more on subway and public transportation photos, especially during the winter when I have so few chances to photograph during daylight. I've been inspired lately by Duncan's work and also by the work of Travis Ruse who posts exclusively New York subway photos on his excellent blog. I don't think my current camera is ideally suited to this work (for reasons that I'll elaborate on if anyone cares), but once in a while I get lucky, so I think it's worth the effort as these spaces are really human museums.

Hope you enjoyed 2006. See you next year!
