@robo: Arigatou, Makoto-さん!
I like all the vibrant colours.

@badala: Thanks, Badala!
Great capture. Don't know why but made me smile.

@Suby: Thanks, Suby!
Cool shot. I guess that bus doesn't stop at this stop.
30 Nov 2006 1:38pm
@Darren Halliday: Thanks, Darren. It's actually a streetcar (note the tracks) and I think it did stop just after I snapped.
Like the blur and the lighting. However, the crane(?) in the top left distracts me. Otherwise it's great.
30 Nov 2006 2:03pm
@Ryan: I thought about removing the crane too but decided against it. In a way, I think it's balanced with the vent on the right.
cool shot Damon. I have a fascination with long exposures of traffic. Nice work.

@Duncan Galbraith: Thanks. They are fun to do. I keep a little ball-head tripod foot thing attached to the bottom of my camera, so I can set up anywhere convenient. I think this was taken on top of a newspaper box.
Love the motion blur here, and the bright colour. Gotta love the literacy rate of people--couldn't they come up with anything more creative than "penis tour" to scrawl on a roof? ;)
30 Nov 2006 2:18pm
@Blain: No kidding. I get the impression that they were probably drunk given the choice of words, the way they ran out of space, and the way they appear to have fallen off the roof with their paint can.
Really cool shot. Love all the motion.
30 Nov 2006 2:43pm
@Addey: Thanks Addey, me too. You never know what kind of motion you'll get with a shot like this.
I love the transport effect...I've always loved this effect!!! I never knew blurry things could look so stunning on film!! It's a great capture.

@Colour blind: Thank you, but - no film!
30 Nov 2006 5:32pm
@Martine Lapointe: Merci bien, Martine.
Great shot, the motion effect is superb and so are the colours. Interesting graffiti ;-) never saw one on a roof :-)
30 Nov 2006 6:28pm
@Martin: Thank you. I'm of the opinion that one has to be seriously drunk to try something like that.
Wow, great work with the long shutter, you really got the motion nice. The composition can make other photographers envious too!

@Mommith in Chief: Thanks, Mammoth. I appreciate it.
Really nice image, you sure get the most out of your G3.

@JL: Thank you, JL. It's a great little camera, though I long for something a bit more responsive.

@Craig Persel: Much appreciated, Craig.
When they fell off the roof, I wonder if they fell in front of the streetcar?!? hmmmm.
Great shot - love the colours, the story (real or imagined ;)) and the gritty urban-ness to this shot. Well done!!

@AJ Kassam: Thanks for your comments, AJ. I guess we'll never know about the story, but feel free to expand on it. I'd love to hear what happened.
Coooooooool! Static movement

@Madredeus: Glad you like it, Madredeus!
clever...love the Traffic blurr also.

@Visions by Dean Christopher.: Thank you, Dean. The blur just sort of happened, but I'll agree it was fortuitous.
