Not really a butcher shop, this is a Chinese barbecue restaurant with the kitchen and the meats in the front display.
[Spadina and Dundas]
Controversial it is... Vegitarians have reasons to fear "The Electroblog"...
I like the vivid colors and how you managed to capture all the grease and fat... Nice shot!

I missed your recent posts Damon (due to a hell of a schedule) but have now thankfully caught up. Im really enjoying the series. It almost looks like the fat on the glass is on your camera lens. Too close for comfort!

Brrr... Do the peoples eat the head too??? If it was me who's taking this picture, I would cut the people in the back. The framing would be better.

@Martine Lapointe: Thanks for the suggestion, Martine. I left the people in the back because with the hand holding the cleaver, you get an idea of the next stage in the process.

The grease smears on the glass really do it for me. This is the Spadina Avenue that I also remember from my childhood visits to Toronto.

I like this photo. I think that the background gives it more feeling and context. Imagine seeing dead chickens with a man with a big knife at the back ahaha. The detail is superb and I feel like the dead chicken is staring at me.
