Obelesque II - 1000th post

Posted by Damon Schreiber (Toronto, Canada) on 7 June 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Here's a revisit of the very first image I posted here on the Electroblog on the occasion of my 1000th post in as many days.

That first photo shows a date of July 26th, but that was the date it was taken. It was actually posted on September 26th, 2006, the day after Aaron gave me an account. I then posted other images on earlier dates because it took me a couple days to figure out how this photoblog stuff works. I do catch on eventually...

Thanks as always to the people who make this site happen: you are very good people, and I appreciate your hard work more than I can express.

Many thanks also to the people who have stumbled across my page over the years and left a kind word. Your comments are always warmly and gratefully received, even when I haven't been able to return the favour.

As anyone who has tried this is aware, it isn't always easy to post a new image every day, especially when you try to make each one count. But it has its own rewards. I appreciate the structure and purpose it brings to my photography, and the discipline of making it happen one way or another.

I make no promises, but I'll keep going for as long as I can.
