Cold City

This is a statue by Rowan Gillespie from the Irish Famine Memorial, in Ireland Park, Toronto. This park is small, and has a stark beauty. But it's so out of the way, that I'm surprised anyone can find it. I'm surprised I did.

How could I stay without voice in front of this image. I see the poster of the next film about the end of the world!
I really have the impression that this man, shipwrecked man, calls for help near the people being on the beach, or he tries to inform them about an imminent danger!

Ireland Park is truly an amazing spot. And yes, I had a difficult time finding it last summer. But it was totally worth it. You captured this shot very well. Congratulations =)

this is an excellent composition! you positioned the statue very well in the frame and chose a good angle to catch it in a perfect pose... you also bring in the background nicely and because it is out of focus it does nto detract from the statue and gives a good idea of the distance... well done!

Superbe composition.
En voyage, de Montréal aux chutes du Niagara, nous sommes passés par Toronto. Il y avait une tempête de neige aussi nous n'avons pu visiter la ville. J'aimerais le faire lors d'un prochain voyage.
