I was thunderstruckPosted by Damon Schreiber (Toronto, Canada) on 7 October 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. I was thunderstruck when I noticed that this business had papered their door with a 60 year-old newspaper. Check out the prices at the supermarket: On average, it appears that things are now roughly 20 times more expensive than they were in 1948. Yes, that's coffee at 51 cents a pound and porterhouse steak for 75 cents per pound. Now where did I put that time machine... [Ossington & Foxley, Toronto]
