Train Check

You know, sometimes you start with one strong primary colour and then you find yourself going through all three of them in succession? Anyway, that's what happened to me. I started on Tuesday with yellow, blue yesterday, and now red. Also three women. So i suppose this becomes an unintended series.

They make a cool triptych.
Just a few questions, I like to know the background. have you changed anything? Such as the colour of a jacket? and are these shots taken on the move or have you set them up?

@the4thversion: Thanks, 4th! The answers to your questions are unfortunately rather boring: I haven't changed any colours, and these were very much found scenes. This particular image was in fact taken yesterday evening without any real intent of completing the series. It was only when I reviewed it that I thought it fit with the others. The first two from yesterday and the day before were more carefully composed it's true, but they weren't in any way planned. The yellow jacket of the woman two days ago really struck me as she was standing against the yellow tape. No idea if she was even aware.

Each of the women and colour also have a poster or 'affiche' that assist the composition. I really like these. I am waiting for 'blue'.

Hi Damon - I've found myself coming back to this photo several times since you posted it...there's something rather compelling about it but I can't say it's any one thing - just a great 'street' shot which is a genre that I love but am not very good at myself.
