Thanksgiving

Yesterday was (Thanksgiving holiday) in Canada. We feasted on the two vegetables pictured above among other things for which we give thanks.

I come from the French Antilles and this is popular food for us,
sweet potatoes are eaten sweet in jam, or salty like regular potatoes. Some even fry them.
