Thanks to Dimitrios for organising a self-portrait theme here on Aminus3 today. For what it's worth, this photo was taken as a double-exposure in camera the old fashioned way.
Also, this posting marks one year that I've been posting a photo a day here. I'm pleased to say that in that year I've managed to have a posting every single day since 28 September 2006.
(I actually started the photoblog a week or two before that, but I didn't quite get the concept that I shouldn't be posting photos on the date that they were actually taken. This explains why there are a few scattered photos from previous dates.)
In this time I've met many interesting and wonderful people, seen much talent from around the world, and seen a few people who have been able to carry on posting a photo a day as I have. As those who've managed it (sometimes for much longer) can tell you, it's hard work. But after a year, it's become part of my daily life, so I have no plans to stop. Nevertheless, if I do fail to post something one day, please don't hold it against me or interpret it as a sure sign of my demise.

@Nick Passantino: Thanks, Nick! I've certainly appreciated your visits.
Well! Happy Anniversary and congrats on your 365 pictures for the whole year. You are right, it is hard work, and I am afraid I had to slack off a while ago because of ill lhealth. However, I am doing better at getting around and posting on other people's blogs now if I don't post a picture every day. This one suggested by Dimitrios has been quite a marathon, but I'm almost caught up - and it was a great experience to see all the faces!
I am really impressed with your self portrait - long time since I tried double exposures - my digital won't do it! But I remember when on film, the exposures can be a bit tricky, because of the amount of light that has already entered the camera in the first exposure! Nice to meet you. Cheers!

@Anne: Thanks, Anne! Luckily on my camera, there's a setting to not only do multiple exposures, but calculate the exposure so it comes out well balanced.
Brilliant work,Damon !

@Markus: Thanks, Markus!
Hello Damon, thanks to Dimitrios I've discovered you! Congratulations and thank you for your work which seems to be more than only a pastime for you! Excellent quality, no special-effect pursuing, pure pictural beauty, that's what I like. Effects servicing the picture and not the other way around, that's also the case with this fine portrait with an un-identifiable extra.
