Note: Love this photo - the 1977 one. Such a perfect window to the times. You wouldn't believe how long I've stood in that spot trying to get the same setup: a big car on the right, seniors on the left. No such luck. Not too many cute old ladies walk that strip it seems. And cars like to avoid the right lane. So here's the best approximation I could get. One of the women on the left wasn't happy and muttered something about people with cameras on Yonge Street should be careful as she passed. Ha ha, ladies, now you're famous!

Looking at the classic car in 1977 makes me feel as though I've gone " back to the future". It 's really the same angle and perspective.in addition, the black car is coming through almost exactly the same spot.
