Note: This is a picture of Memorial Tower straight ahead, and University College on the left. As you can see, the original vista is now obscured by trees. The restoration underway in 1977 was long since completed. You'll notice that the Do Not Enter sign has been updated. Also that my bicycle is hanging around in my photo. The original photo was taken from a bus window (hence the smudge), so the angles are approximate.
