I think it would be quite difficult to guess where the title came from, so don't tie yourself into knots.

In other news, I'm unhappy to report that Honest Ed Mirvish of Honest Ed's (see here and here) died yesterday at 92. You might wonder why I'd care about this guy, but if you lived here, you might understand that he was as much a folk-hero as businessman. Not just a shopkeeper, he (with his wife, Anne) became a restaurateur, a theatre maven, a patron of the arts in general, a friend to the poor, and generally someone who brought a fair bit of colour to a city that was in the 1950s chiefly known for being boring. Anyhow, read this article or this one if you're interested, and raise a toast.
