Ooops, turns out that big grandiose project I alluded to yesterday just isn't quite ready for prime time yet. I'll muddle through somehow. With luck, it'll get going next week.

Hmmm...the perspective is nice. I think the foreground dude needs to be brighter or a silhouette.

wonderful image. I beg to differ with Nick Passantino. the focus of this image is not the person, its the "web" of wires. It is OK that we cannot see the face, or for that matter certain details of the figure in the shot. What matters is that the "web" is visible. Great shot by Damon!

@Rags: Thanks, Rags! I think you're right about my intent. I was more interested in the light in general and that web than in the foreground person per se. However, I did enjoy that he was mysteriously partially illuminated as he stepped into the shade. I have to point out that it's Daniel you're disagreeing with though, not Nick. (It's fun to disagree with Daniel, I often do, but I always respect his opinions.)

mmm...suspense suspense...whats a coming? lets wait and see...Nice way to bide your time with this one, I've always had a soft spot for wire shots as Japan is pretty well covered with the things, as you're well aware. As chaotic as they are in Japan they do seem to at least follow a linear pathway, sure they zig zag from one side of an alley to the other but its a somewhat logical and formulaic pattern...Things look a bit different over your way, and the title ably reflects that. Its a web for sure and the perspective makes it look incredibly oppressive as if its gonna fall down upon us.

@Duncan Galbraith: Thanks, Duncan! There is a logic to these wires, though. This is an intersection of two streetcar lines.
