Another day, another homage... This time to Kheoh's the kid who sells shoes. Again as with Duncan's yesterday, in a cosmic coincidence, I took this photo a day before Kheoh posted his. Seems that I've found the kid's father. He's significantly less organised than the kid.
High-res here.

Great urban portrait. Love the chaos at their feet and his apparent nonchalance regarding his customers. Got some real nice contrast going on here and I'm really enjoying the tones via your new piece of hardware. I want a new toy....

@Duncan Galbraith: Yeah, like some fashionista sales clerk from Milano, he really wasn't all that interested in his clientele. Just sitting on his chair with an enormous heap of shoes all over the sidewalk.
New toys are always fun. This one certainly is. Only limitation is significantly more weight and less discretion - though that last one may just be in my mind. In any case, I'm anxiously awaiting the 40mm pancake lens that is on order for me. I'm hoping that'll be my street-shootin' tool of choice.
Great street shot, nice capture of the lives of others.
