Man that looks like one heck of a shop/street. Theres something utterly tragic about this, yet at the same time its wryly amusing. The 3 pillars all seem to possess personalities of some kind or another, like 3 'wise guys' hanging out patrolling their turf, not that I can imagine anyone wanting to exactly take it over. Looks like a photographers paradise if you ask me. I'd love to see more of this locale. I imagine Senex lives upstairs for some reason. Why I dont know. Maybe because the name 'Captain Canada' was bandied about at one point from memory? anyway....me likes.

@Duncan Galbraith: Perhaps...
darn...can you link that 'Senex' comment to your 'Transfixed' image...I forgot to do it. Cheers.

Ha ha, the comment about the drunk dirvers being lousy lovers is making me laugh! There is lots of good stuff in this photo, I think I spent more time on this photo than any other on this community. Every time I thought I saw it all I noticed something else. Great shot!

Looks like a fun street!

There's so much going on in this scene - yet somehow nothing at the same time; it does make for an eerie kind of feeling. I like the small details like the humorous drunk driver posters next to the down to earth 'income tax' signs, a great work of contrasts
