being from between the two cities of liverpool and manchester, I understandably support ONE of those teams. I hasten to say it aint the reds referenced in the above picture! But anything to stop the blue wave from washing over the land is ok with me. Theres always next year for the Reds to reclaim their crown via the silky skills of Mr Gerrard and Rafa. Never thought Id be 'celebrating' a Manc win (Liverpool and Manchester share somewhat of a mutual dislike of one another although historians say the origins of the rivalry isnt clear but it arose sometime around the time I was born). Anyway, Never knew you followed the footy mr Schreiber. I must add that this shot does bear a striking resemblance to Manchester itself. Well not exactly but the atmosphere is very much similar. hurrah. Go the 'pool though on the 23rd! Im hoping history repeats itself.

@Duncan Galbraith: Erm... colour me bemused by the commentary on this photo. No, I don't follow footy at all. I tune in for the world cup, watch it ravenously, and then fuhgetaboutit for 4 years. Perhaps that'll change now that Toronto has it's own team (still goal-less after four games)again, but not likely. So anyway, I just meant to say hello to the Am3 folk from thereabouts (I know Jenny at least lives there); I didn't mean to start a war. Shows what I know about international diplomacy. Sigh...
