Rain ManPosted by Damon Schreiber (Toronto, Canada) on 3 May 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. The close of a really enjoyable exploration of Water around the world. Thanks so much to all who joined in. My three photos were taken on April 22 and 23, well after the announcement of the theme (just so that you know I didn't come up with the theme with these particular images in mind). I find it a great challenge to shoot for a defined project, and I hope you'll all agree. As far as I know, this is only the second organised theme project on Aminus3, the first was arranged by Duncan, so all credit to him for coming up with the idea. Where it goes next is anyone's guess at this point... This is part of a group project undertaken by various members here on AM3. There's a theme here on Aminus3 running from the day before yesterday until today, and the theme is 'water'. News: Just a note that I've been editing the list here and there to include anyone who wants to be on it. If you're not on the list but are posting theme-related images, just drop me a line, and I'll add you to the list when I have time. Aaron has now added a link to the Themes page on your Admin>Image section where you can submit 'water' related images. You may submit up to 3 images, you don't need to be actively participating over these 3 days, and the deadline for all submissions is 7 May 2007 (Midnight EST - that means the end of Sunday GMT-4). It's important to note that if you want to have your images listed there, you must add them manually. Just posting regularly won't automatically add them to the theme page. Thanks! Many thanks to all the great Aminus3 members who signed up and were able to participate in the theme. The following is a list which may be partial. If I missed you, drop me a line and I'll try to update it and add you for the next days as well. Otherwise, click around and see all the ways people have interpreted this theme. broutilles... High-res here. [Shaw near Bloor, Toronto]
