Many thanks for setting this up Damon. As I mentioned yesterday its been an absolute joy getting back behind the lens and behind the pc to see what the site has produced. Its been a most successful project and You should be pleased as punch. Love this one, I saw it at first on Reflected Concepts cell phone whilst we were in the city and It looked like you were about to jump on top of a passerbys umbrella. But that wouldnt really be your kind of activity, so it was all mightily mysterious. Back home now obviously and the big screen brings it all into focus. Wonderful idea, although your lacking a reflection so Im thinking you might have some vampiric tendencies. Yikes! Anyway, kudos to you yet again for not only setting this up (I am well aware it isn't easy and your project was infinitely bigger than mine so I can imagine the number of hours it took to get this sorted so applause again) but for leading the charge with three delightful interpretations yourself. Send me your address and Ill send you a bottle of sake.

Superb b&w conversion and a great closer to a fascinating theme. I really like the double layer to this shot - the surface reflections and what lies beneath. However it just wouldn't work without Rainman's toes and umbrella. The umbrella's reflection makes me look deeper into the image. Excellent work, and a hearty slap on the back for organizing this.

WOW, the image does trigger your mind and imagination :) At first, I thought I was looking at a wall full of artwork with the cup being the spotlight. Took me a while but I was able to define what the composition was really all about ... thanks to the tips of your boots :) Nicely done, Damon!

Other than that, it's been a joy participating in the "water" them you've come up with ... and no doubt, it was an absolute pleasure seeing the work of other Aminus3 members. It's proven that imagination and creativity are endless. So, keep 'em coming. Thanks again!

Wow! A wonderful image for you to finish up with! It sure is one that you look at for a while. I am wondering too, why your image is not in the reflection? It must have been quite a pp job, but whatever you did to it, it is a fantastic creative image.

Thank you for all the work you put into getting everyone organized to participate, the emails, the links, must have been quite a time consuming job. I enjoyed it tremendously - got to see some really fantastic images produced by other participating members. Cheers! :-)

PS Damon, I started a forum for the members and made it known about a week or so ago. The idea was to organize photography and post processing tips, and questions from members of aminus3. The tips that are given on the blog, kind of get lost in the past dates. The forum . Behrooz is helping me presently - we haven't got much posted yet because of the water theme, etc., and I have been sick for almost a week too - but a lot better now. (The URL button is not working - so have had to type it in manually - lets hope it works!) Maybe you'd like to take a peek and see if you would find it useful. If you do and register, I would automatically set your rank from user to adminstrator, same goes for Duncan. If you like the idea I'd be glad if you would contact Duncan for me as I have to get off the computer now.

Simply superb Abstract, your composition makes the whole scene(the water and reflections) looks as if it spilled out of the cup. the dark tones and minimal contrast makes the subject more interesting, What a great end to the series.

You are right when you have to shoot for a theme and you want to do creative shots it forces you to think of things in new ways which sometimes creates amazing shots!!!
