Stern Majesty II

Ok, this exhaustion marathon looks like it's coming to an end. My Flash course final exam is today (maybe I should start studying). I haven't had time to study for it because I've been building my final project for the course which is also due today. Must...sleep... Anyway, you can see my final project right here. It should look more or less familiar. Don't worry, though, I'm not going anywhere just yet. This was just coursework. I don't think it's practical for daily use. But it's all built and coded in Flash (which I still hate) and I'm proud that it works as well as it does.

We're supposed to have nice weather this weekend, so perhaps I can finally get out and do some photography with a happy heart.

Yeah, nice flash coding, I know what you mean finished a director/flash subject last semester, by the end I was talking in lingo. This scene is very interesting, trying to make out whether you've shot through a window, or it's a reflection, or a composite...either way it's an excellent scene. Can't believe it's Toronto and not Soviet Russia, great work!!

@Chris Sullivan: Ah now Lingo: that's another story. I love Director... The project would have been so much easier in Director...I think. This shot was taken through construction hoarding. It's a very old library that's being renovated. A piece of plywood covers the door. The steps have been removed. I was quite shocked because I've been there many times and didn't know it was scheduled for renewal. Maybe I'll post another version of this shot once they're done.

You've recently had some really good shots, some of your best. Good to see you've found you're errm, vibe, I guess, so to say... I like all this urbanesque atmosphere ya got goin' here. Very nice, really. I like this one especially, it's quite interesting and unusual and creative and whatnot. And the Flash is pretty good too - I wanna learn some basic Flash sometime soon.

@Mammoth in Chief: Thanks, Mammoth! I dunno. I'm feeling coldness coming from most of these shots - I haven't had time to really feel them lately. But it's something I have to get out of my system, and I'm glad you like them. No doubt Spring will bring photos of puppy dogs and daffodils.
