@Sidonie: Meh... It's just a bus. Thanks, Sidonie! Bronnie from Christchurch, New ZealandNot sure I'd want to travel alone on this! I like the way you've balanced the light on the inside and the detail on the outside of the bus. Cool. 3 Mar 2007 6:18am @Bronnie: I think perhaps I made it seem more foreboding than it really is. Perfectly safe, I assure you. Thanks, Bronnie! @Putter: Thank you, Putter! Daroru from Osaka, JapanReally like those small 'windows' of bright clarity, with the detail in your dark 'frame' that you need to look at more closely... 3 Mar 2007 2:17pm @Daroru: Thanks, Daroru! I had a bit of work getting the tones where I wanted them, and they were so subtle in the end, it depends a lot on how one's monitor is calibrated. The lettering on the bus will be obvious for some and invisible for others. Darren from JapanGreat work there Damon. 3 Mar 2007 4:07pm @Darren: Many thanks, Daz! I know you're busy, so take it easy. @objectif-plume: Merci beaucoup, OP! Sylvia from Milano, ItalyI like the sepia tone, and the way the light goes through the other side of the window--- the line. 3 Mar 2007 9:22pm @Sylvia: Thanks, Sylvia! Lots of lightening and darkening by hand in this one! Martine Lapointe from Québec, CanadaYou have the eye to catch the text on the bus! 4 Mar 2007 4:42am @Martine Lapointe: Luckily I still have my eyes. Merci, Martine! Michael Zhang from New York City, United StatesI love the "grit" on the windows. Excellent. 4 Mar 2007 4:51am @Michael Zhang: Everything's 'gritty' this time of year. Thanks, Michael! Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaNice work Damon, excellent end to the series; great urban-grit imagery. 4 Mar 2007 9:32am @Chris Sullivan: Many thanks, Chris! Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, JapanA fine closer and wonderful eye! You have my deepest thanks for joining the collective. Its been an absolute pleasure 'working' with you. (pardon the pun). I'm in your (and the other members) debt. Thank you again. 4 Mar 2007 11:37am @Duncan Galbraith: Many thanks, as always, Duncan! And thanks so much for organising this theme; it brought out a lot of great work. @H.O: Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasu, Hiro-san! @Alfredo J. Martiz J.: Thanks, Alfredo! Stu from Kyoto, JapanA great 'grounded in reality' shot to finish. You posted some really great images in this series Damon. For me, the first one was the most memorable. Really excellent work. 7 Mar 2007 9:31am @Stu: Many thanks, Stu! *and aplologies for being absent the last few days |
