Crispy shot. eye popping DoF. the front yard is remarkably different from the back. When you landscaped it did you have these 2 contrasting styles in mind? ;)

@Duncan Galbraith: Hmm... you noticed how radically different the front and back look, eh? Yeah, when we 'landscaped' them, we wanted them to look like two completely different worlds. So I guess we succeeded (what with the flowers in front and the herbs in back). Er... thanks, Duncan!

@sandip debnath: Thanks, Sandip! I complain about my G3 sometimes, but it does have a very nice fast (f2) lens, and for telephoto macros, certainly a reasonably shallow DOF. I'm really enjoying your photos.
