ever thought about using a cross screen filter for these night shots? it would add a new element to the lights which i am sure you'd like. coool shot with the jeep. fun cars.

@Zach Siebert: Hmm... That's an idea. I'm not sure. In any case, the lens on my little Canon G3 doesn't have threads for filtres. I'll think about this when I'm using an SLR again. Thanks, Zach.

@JS: Thanks, Jan! Yes we don't get many real stars here, especially on overcast nights like this one. I did like the repitiion of the starburst from the streetlams and the neon palm trees, so I suppose there's a little similarity.

I love the motion blur. very dynamic. especially as it forms a nice contrast with the foreground vehicles.

@Duncan Galbraith: Thanks, Duncan. I lke the traffic signals here obliquely telling their story: the walk sign is illuminated, but no one is walking; the red light shines above stopped vehicles that can't see it.
@Angry Buddha: Heh, it does look like a night for pizza, though, doesn't it? This is actually the "club district" in Toronto, and I think the Pizzaville there serves as a pit stop for revelers in need of a little nutrition. Thanks, oh Angry one, and I love your bridge shot today.
