Román Güemes Jiménez

The other half of Tierra Huasteca (see yesterday for the first half). I'm not as pleased with this portrait, but in the intrerests of symmetry, here's Román. He was by far, the more talkative member of the group. By the way, he is shown playing the huapanguera guitar which has eight strings, and is tuned with high strings at the top and low strings at the bottom. It is one of many types of guitars from México.
