Honest Ed's AlleyPosted by Damon Schreiber (Toronto, Canada) on 25 October 2006 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. Honest Ed's is an old time discount shop in Toronto with a one-of-a-kind vibe. A palace of cheap with none of the creepy soullessness of a Wal-Mart. Framed autographed pictures of old and often forgotten celebrities line the walls. On the top floor, there's a photo of Charlie Chaplin in front of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow holding an Honest Ed's shopping bag(!) This was taken yesterday in the rear parking lot. The "alley" is a walkway that connects the two main buildings.
