Very interesting subject! I don't see that here in my country haha. The picture already works for me cropped just above the blue hat though.

@Ryan Yam: Thanks. If I'd gone in closer, I think it might have made an interesting shot, but with this one, I liked the signs overhead for colour and context.
hmm intresting subject, what is the story behind it damon?

@Srinivas: The story here, is that this is a street artist creating a kind of temporal art, similar to sidewalk paintings. He is asking for donations, and he did draw many crowds. And I haven't seen anything quite like it either. Stone balancing as an art form comes from the inuksuk structures created by the Inuit people of the artic. This art form has become more popular in recent years especially (I think) in Canada.
Anyway, while I've seen many balanced stones before, this is the first time I've seen it done with bricks and building materials, and they were quite impressive. So - an urban interpretation of an ancient form.
He is in front of a butcher shop (European Quality Meat and Sausages) which was closed on Sunday and Monday due to Thanksgiving holiday.
very nice candid shot, though the red on top is quite distracting form the main object. i can see another picture in this one: a b&w of just the man building his project, that is, of course, pixels permiting.

@Kelvin Chan: I see your point, but I stand by the composition of this shot. In this case, pixels didn't permit, So it would have to have been a different shot if I wanted it to be more of a close up.
